this is very beautiful... it makes me think of a time were everything in the world has been abolished, the few that survived in later years have created simulations to recreate what they no longer have. (thus the little girls holds onto her illusion of freedom)

For me it was about how the people around you cannot see that you are not actually free to do what you want; nor are you free to take certain actions they may want you to take. There is an obstacle in your way that they cannot comprehend because the cannot see it
