Yeah, but at the same time, the Archie Sonic comics have their individual feel from the main series and people tend to make a fuss when they see things that make it seem like that might be taken away to make it into a comic that's as close to the games as possible. I don't think that will happen anytime soon though, SEGA has been fairly cool about that sorta stuff (although stuff like, say, Charmy getting his personality changed to be more like the games instead of how it was before strikes me as unnecessary, but hey, it's SEGA's call on that kind of stuff. Not much Archie can do about that.)
Yes, that exact issue! That's what I meant by "Another Time in Another Place adaptation like they've done for the other recent Sonic games". As in, "a promo for upcoming Sonic titles that doesn't actually have any place or impact on the main comic storyline". I brought it up because I just wanted to verify that I didn't end up missing an issue where they DID adapt Sonic Chronicles within the comic story beyond some mentions of certain characters in a few issues here and there but apparently that's not the case.
