Comment on Railgun Mech by Shad3R

How it is going to withstand recoil from shots?

It's possible that it can fold it's legs together making it kinda crouching/kneeling, but more stable position. However it might be necessary only when it fires full powered shots, and it can compromise part of range/shot power while standing, making it able to either shoot rapid close range shots on go, or take a position and make full force shot to take down serious targets... However it's just my opinion.

yup, a little modification to the leg with extension support at the rear could help a lot.

Railguns have virtually no recoil at all.

Railguns certainly have recoil. Reaction from the action.

laser, rocket launcher have no recoil.

In theory, lasers do have recoil, but you're never going to believe that.

if you are referring to something as light pressure or that sort of force, i think that kind of force can be safely ignored?

I do read there was a concept spacecraft that would be pushed by the laser shooting at its "sail" from Earth...but that would take like forever to reach the required speed to escape solar system, solar wind would be a much better choice in comparison :)

Which comes from the air displaced by the round and the plasma generated by it, but actual magnetic firing system does not directly result in recoil.

i don't exactly get what you mean by plasma here, i thought rail gun is one kind of mass driver. are you saying the railgun is shooting plasma?

Bad mech, bad! you should behave according to Newton laws! It is Einstein you should screw...
