Wow! what a shot! I've been to Harper's ferry so many times (I live in Bethesda MD actually) but I've never been up on the rock before.....I think I would actually be too scared.
Maryland Heights is a great place! The hike is a but tough and yes, you can certainly get pretty close up to the edge there. And thanks!
That's right! that rock is a part Maryland isn't it! Hah….I think I can handle the hike. I've biked the C&O canal numerous times (Great ride when the rocks aren't too bumpy) I think I can handle a minor mountain trek. I'll have to do it some time….maybe this summer
Yea, definitely get out there! The hike was a bit tough for me, but I am not in great shape. At least it is a fairly short hike.
