lol I don't like the show's shading, I used to do realistic shading but I think cartoony cell shading is more my style
very well...but surely some kind of shading is required for there bases?
well I use cell shading for where objects cause shading, such as curvature of the figure or the mane covers it, etc. and I use gradient shading just because it's moving towards/away from light source
aye, it is why it surprises me how much love and care goes into the rest of the shading but none for the undersides or base. if you see what I mean?
