Ahh... well... I incorporated how suffocating my depression has been feeling lately on the neck(Though, I have another picture in my gallery that probably represents that better), but that's the only symbolism I consciously put in...
Originally, I was going to have bruises and marks as if something had been choking him, but the thorns and blood were more of a last minute 'hey I wonder if this idea would look cool'
