Something about the way you stance your drawings has always gotten to me... Even though this is just a rough sketch, i still derive a lot of emotion from it :)

I assume the if you choose to finish this pic you'll refine certain details (most notably the hands and the eyes) but beyond that the general structure is looking good!

(Haha! Finally with the advent of dual monitors I can look at the picture and write at the same time :D)

Any issue I could have with this picture lies in the fine details; i.e. all things that would be cleaned up in the final image.

Little things like the character on the left's shoulder (Jamie??) looking a bit detached from his body could be cleared up by relaxing the left side of the shoulder circle into the line of his back and by putting in a few shadows in the cloth (from bending/stretching) in the shirt below.

The guy on the right (who I am going to call "Right" from hereon) looks kind of... Static... Left has a very fluid and life-like look about him, whereas Right is kind of ... statue-like ^.^;; Given the position they're in at the moment, I'd imagine Right saw this encounter coming. From the looks of things, he's not exactly put off by this kiss, so I'd think that he would be leaning in a little more, or that he would be turned slightly clockwise (beding around Left's knee slightly) and a little closer to Left.

... Looking a little more closely, it kind of looks like Right's legs are already turned clockwise-ish so maybe that's why his torso is looking a little weird... Maybe his torso should follow his legs a little? The lines in his pants around the waist need to be clarified before I can tell (again, something that would be polished if the image were to be finished.)

Another thing about Right that's bugging me... His neck... I can't quite see through his hair, but it looks like his neck is a bit conical and pointy (sloping forward from the back of his neck.) Not sure if that's supposed to indicate that his head is tilted towards the onlooker or not, but the placement of his eye(s) and ears don't seem to indicate that.

I don't have a lot to say about Left... He's cute <3 But the area around his waist is a little odd to me... The line of his tummy doesn't seem to quite jive with where the top of his pants begin by Right's hand... It makes sense the way you've drawn it (i.e. lower body turned clockwise, upper body turned Cclockwise to kiss Right) but for some reason my mind wants to see Left's tummy-line pulled a little towards his back/the left of the scene.

Anyways, I've probably written way more than I ought to have, but suffice it to say that this is a drawing I'd like to see finished :D I'd imagine that by this time (i.e. October) you've either finished it beautifully or scrapped the thing, but I can always dream ;)

A quick question:
Right's tail: Cropped? Or am I missing something? ^.^;

Come back and keep drawing!! <3

mmm it's good to see your anthro work again hon :3 i always loved your style, and i still do. i hope you do more soon ^^ i dont think there's much i'd suggest working on in this picture, other than refining the linework a bit but hell, it's just a sketch. god i love the nubby tail of the one on the right X3

but why does this sandwich have arms?
the head of the figure on the left looks a tad small.
love the hands and the gesture you've got going on here.

everything perspective, everything circles
stay zen
I'll mix my critique and compliment, don't feel like seperating them. P:
The way you draw hands and arms is amazing. I love it. I love the big ol' hands on these, really. One of my favorite things about your work, always has been.
BUT. In this picture, the character on the left's arm is longer than the other character's. Their hands are the same size, but their forearms aren't. This isn't really a problem, perse, but it would make it nicer to look at if the char on the right's forearm was lengthened. His forearm is also a tad thicker than (I think) it should be.

God I love your anatomy so much with the longish torsos (they used to be longer, like on Cam), and the long long legs and huge hands. DDDD:
~masticate said the left char's head looked small, but I think it's just the difference in their hair. I don't know, though. P:

One other thing I see in your work, is that when you draw muzzles, they end above their eye. If you look at most animals and all humans, their nose/muzzle ends and their face...dents in (if you know what I'm saying) about level with the eyes. Humans are kind of cutting it, their dent is kind of at the top of the eye, no? But animals' eyes are about level with it. Then again, you said it was more realism than anything, and I think the sharpness I'm used to is preference, anyway.

But hell, other than those things, I love the way you draw pant folds. I love the way you draw hair, eyes, ears, everything. It's just sexy and I miss it. <3

More work is found at my FurAffinity Gallery.
:q hm. The only "critique" I think that I can like, come up with (Since I'm no one to give *YOU* crits) is that the taller character looks a little stiff to me; and I don't know if it's a marking on his face (._. is that Lee?) but his mouth looks a little long.

<3 I dunnoes. :0 those things stood out to me.
