yeah, I usually avoid references (which is both good and bad), but I actually did use a reference for the puppy on one of my English project things.
That's cool ^_^ I never could draw from my head alone. I mean, some of my ideas are pretty odd and I wouldn't be able to find a reference for them... so I mostly use poses and stuff from other pictures I see.
yeah, I think that's really great because your pictures end up looking a lot more realistic.
