Those judgmental people are exactly what's wrong with the cosplay community. Which is funny considering most of them aren't even cosplayers themselves which gives them even less of a right to criticize someone on something they have no knowledge of and are unfamiliar with.
Exactly! They're heavily influenced by the media who says everyone should be a tall, skinny white girl/boy. That's not true, it's an unhealthy image to achieve. Besides, cameras tend to make people bigger than they are in reality. Also, I have my doubts that an underweight person could pick up a chainsaw the way you do c:
