Wow, I never would have noticed your ladderphilia if you hadn't mentioned it. :) You draw so many bridges and portals and arches, etc., that most of your pictures are "places along the way" (not all though) to me.

The little elf is quite lovely, and apparently very contented to play her big friend to sleep. I'm surprised that it needs the bigger stump to live in, especially since the smaller one is way too small for her. Perhaps it's for a neighboring animal – or tomorrow's breakfast.

The girl is lovely and makes a nice eye-grabber to open with, though the rest of the magical burrow is quite awe-inspiring too. I like that it's part of a tunnel leading off to who-knows-where else, plus the extra holes and ways around the edges. The ray of sun lighting up the musician and her perch does a lovely job, plus it hits the lizard's tail just enough so that it stands out once we start to look around. The magical-looking phosphorescent mushrooms add a lot of mood lighting and even more wonder to the special hidden place. (Well, hidden except for the ladder sticking up, and perhaps that odd crane or whatever that seems to like ladders. ;))

Thanks for sharing another gorgeous piece.
