You know, when I originally heard about Twilight becoming an alicorn, like many people I was somewhat upset, mostly because I saw no real point in it.
Then I told myself that it wouldn't last, and by the start of the next season she would willingly give it up somehow for some heroic or normal purpose.
(Oddly, this occurred not long after I first heard about it.)
I don't have much time nowadays to watch the show, especially since they're so much better about taking episodes other people post on YouTube off.
Well a few weeks ago, after putting it off due to not being uncertain about Twilight's new form and how I felt (and because xfinity took forever to have some episodes of the new season), I finally watched one.
Nothing had changed.
Twilight was still living in Ponyville. She was still living in the library.
She was still that somewhat awkward, book-loving dork I had come to love.
All that had changed was now she could fly.
Do I kinda miss her non-winged form? Sure. But she's still Twilight.
Just like how, in this comic, going to hell is no big deal for Twilight, her new look is no longer a big deal for me.
