I thinks the background is as important as the cosplay. It's there to make the right atmosphere
Right on that!! But choosing the right background must be quite hard isn't it? 
I love to search for the right location and I don't care if I have to travel some hours but sometimes the conditions on the locations are quite dangerous, cold,.... but it's definitly worth it 
People risks their lives to create art huh? You should be pretty proud of yourself, about one third of artists wouldn't be so dedicated as you to travel to dangerous locations to capture these stuff. On the other hand- the locations itself resembles rare beauty.
