Yeah, but you have to be 21 years old to get minimum wage at that amount, before that it's this:

"
National minimum wage for adults

Currently the full-time minimum wage is $16.37 per hour or $622.20 per week. This means that most employees in the national system shouldn't get less than this.

Casuals covered by the national minimum wage get an extra 24% ($20.30 per hour).

 ...

Under 16 - $6.03
16 - $7.74
17 - $9.46
18 - $11.18
19 - $13.51
20 - $16.00 "

Are you kidding me? I work 40 hours a week and I'm away from home for 50 hours a week. I spend 40 pounds a week on travel and I don't get travel expenses. I am the only Dutch speaker in the office and I answer a minimum of 120 customers a day when the average of the office is 80 a day. I hit 80 in 3 hours or less. I am nearly 21 and I get 8,66 pounds an hour, 345 a week but they take so much tax away I only bring home 286 pounds. I get less than the average 17 year old in your country. That makes me sad.

Not kidding.

8.66 British Pounds = AUD $15.11 (at the moment with the current exchange rate)

So yes, you do get paid less then a 20/21 year old in Australia, but only by a few dollars (which would add up over time)

Ooh! That makes a bit more sense.

Still, makes me sad. GIVE ME A PAY RAISE ALREADY D: (not you)
