Shame he got disgraced by losing to Luffy, the crew abandoning him (Even forbidding Chopper to treat his injuries, Zoro bullying the crew into bot going back, losing Kaya's gift to them (And likely her friendship when she hears about it) and getting a piss poor bounty that wasn't even in his name

 I deduced that "losing his only reminder of Kaya" as his reason for being angry at Luffy for resigning Merry to the scrap heap.  Zoro and Luffy are such jerks sometimes.  I doubt Kaya would stop being Usopp's friend (maybe waifu one day) over a ship.  She would be sad for the Going Merry's loss, but she'd proud of him being alive and well and having so many friends from along the way.

It also bothered me that Luffy was essentially going to abandon something he himself called nakama. Like if Sanji or Usopp get injured, is he going to abandon them as flippantly? If Luffy really thought the Merry was nakama, he should have fought harder to get the shipwrights to INVENT a new feat of engineering to save the ship. If you truly care for someone you do whatever it takes to save them. NO can never be accepted as an answer.

Usopp felt the others felt he was weak. But by apologizing he became PRECISELY that weakling. Apologizing is a sign of weakness. And doing so made him look like Luffy's bitch. Even worse Franky was not only NEVER held accountable for beating him up and stealing from them, they gave him Usopp's sole job as repairman. It's like they were saying what he did to Usopp was okay

It's true.  Usopp may not be a carpenter by trade, but they basically replaced Usopp with Franky.  For the record though, Franky and Usopp collaborate a lot on crafting projects, so is he really gone in his crafting/carpenter/artist capacity?

I doubt Kaya would stop being Usopp's friend over the ship.  She's only concerned about his safety.  In her brief appearances since he left home, she's never once commented on the ship, only on Usopp and how she needs to become a doctor so she can treat his injuries when he gets back.  To be mad at Usopp, she would have to be mad at the entire crew.  They all had a part in Merry's ultimate fate, not just Usopp.
usopp got himself disgraced beause of his stubbornness of his usefulness as a crewmember and the fact he actually thought he'd be able to beat luffy in a 1 on 1 fight, especially since he was heavily injured from the franky family. The crew did not abandon him, usopp left on his own accord and the crew had to accept his choice. Sanji stopped him from healing him because sanji knew if chopper treated him he knew usopp would be embarrasses of having the "loser" taken pity on by the victor's team and that he knew what would happen demanding a duel and needed to accept the outcome of the fight regardless. Zoro didn't bully the crew, he gave them a firm standing that usopp cannot come back unless he sees where he went wrong and give a sincere appology to luffy his own way. It was also to help Usopp learn to take responsibility for his actions and grow up over the fact the life of a pirate is not a childs game, its life or death. Usopp didn't accept that and was still lying to himself unable to see the truth till he saw the crew sail away and finally stepped up and appologized. Zoro also did it to let usopp learn to become the "brave warrior of the sea" his own way by stepping up to the plate and man up. losing kaya's freindship is never gonna happen, if anything, she'll understand once he explains, they are close. his bounty was understandable, plus sogeking IS his name in a way
