Okay, get ready for that convoluted comment. I'm not. A PitchXJack shipper, but for some reason, I like the fanart it it. Not like the ones that have to be marked as immature, but fluffy ones. I don't know why, since I have a hard time visualizing ANY Jack slash, but more so with Pitch, because Pitch is old enough to be his father, and it grosses me out if I think about it too much, but I like the cute, innocent BlackIce fanart.

Also, I don't want you thinking that I'm against slash, because I'm not, I write some myself on FF.net, I'm just not a fan of this particular pairing.

Also, The Cab is freaking amazing. I actually discovered them when watching a RotG AMV of Angel With A Shotgun. Them, Red, Imagine Dragons and OneRepublic... damn, I don't know how I could call myself a person before I knew of their existance. Oh, and Trading Yesterday. They're up there, too.

I will definitely look up Trading Yesterday and Red. I am in serious need of some new music to write to!
Thank you for your comment! I like to hear from people who like my work so you're very much appreciated.

I was a tad weirded out by the Pitch x Jack pairing at first, but then I read the books and I realized that Pitch Black is not the same character as portrayed in the DreamWorks film. He's a much deeper character with a tragic backstory  and there are many fan fictions out there that portray him in a much darker or much more complex way and I think that's what made me fall for this ship. I will admit it is very hard to imagine the animated Pitch from the movie doing anything sexual with Jack, but that's okay because the movie was intended for kids! lol

Fan fiction and well done fan art goes a long way to converting shippers. I know first hand.

Really? Well, if you're going to look up the bands, let me tell you my personal favorites for writing music.

Red- Not Alone(#1 fave), Hymn For The Missing(2nd fave), Lost, Already Over, Buried Beneath, Let It Burn, Lie To Me, Pieces, Start Again, and Who We Are.

Trading Yesterday- Shattered(another fave), May I, One Day, and Revolution

The rest of my writing playlist(yes, I have one) is the Titanium cover by Madilyn Bailey, This Song Saved My Life by Simple Plan, Ho Hey by The Lumineers, Rescue Me by Kerrie Roberts, Nothing Left To Say by Imagine Dragons, Radioactive by Imagine Dragons, Everybody Loves Me by OneRepublic, Apologize by OneRepublic, Secrets by OneRepublic, All Fall Down by One Republic, All The Right Moves by OneRepublic, Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson(it actually describes Jack's life very well), Lovesick Fool by The Cab, and Angel With A Shotgun by The Cab.

Quite a few of those were discovered through RotG AMVs(Titanium, Rescue Me, This Song Saved My Life, Angel With A Shotgun, Shattered and Not Alone), which is actually a wonderful place to discover great music.

Also, if you would like to see some of my writing, I have a FF.net account as Luminesyra, my most popular story being Cold Insanity with over 100 reviews. The first eight chapters and on my profile:)

Hey, thanks for all this. I too discovered some of my fave songs from AMVs on Youtube. I wish I knew how / had the patience to make videos too. omg my life would be taken over by my fandom. (Not that it isn't already... >> )

Do you use Grooveshark.com? You can stream music without downloading. You can make playlists there too for all your fanfictions and things :3 That's what I use.

I've acquired all your recommended Yesterday's and Red songs already. :squee: I like their sound.

If you love mellow stuff then you should look up everything that Lifehouse has ever done. Seriously. Lifehouse helped me write some seriously emotional stuff. T_T It'll make your FEELS come out. lol Especially the song "Storm" and "Everything".

Here's a couple more suggestions for you if you need more tunes: "So Cold" by Breaking Benjamin (a tad rougher sounding), "Echo" by Jason Walker, "Missing" by Evanescence, and "Enemy" by Simon Curtis (a bit faster paced).

actually, I have an android that let's me download music for free, and even handpicks all the top songs of an artist if I just type in the band/singer. It makes it easy to try out a bunch of new music, then just delete it all if you don't like it. All of my favorites go on my iPod, which gets fiddled with far less than my phone music.

Also, thanks for the recommendations, I will have to check them out. I'm on my phone now, so I screenshoted them and will look them up here in a little while.
