Sorry for the sudden comments! I am a very huge Serena fan, after watching some Serena's fan art around the internet, my passion of drawing has been ignited again and I really want to draw some fan art for the best and most beautiful heroine in Pokemon history too! This is the first time I feel so passionate because of an anime character, I really like Serena very much, and even want to be in the anime world!
Your drawings are very beautiful, as beautiful as Serena! I really want to draw like you, and have the similar drawing style like you! But actually I don't know much about computer drawing... I only occasionally use paper and pencil to draw pictures, and didn't do it for several months... The passion of drawing has came back just because of Serena! I really love this character very much, genuinely!
I bet you are not using pencil and paper to draw, then scan to computer and fill color to finish, right? So... can you please teach me what tools you are using to draw fan art? Like what kind of hardware and requirements and prerequisite are needed to start digital illustration / drawing? And briefly teach me how to draw? I mean the process and flow of drawing.

It Doesn,t matter what media you are using to draw,, but for me i like use pencil and drawing pen for line art, then scan it for colouring,, you can use SAI or Photoshop, for basic and mix colour i prefer SAI because it's easier and doesn't need high spec computer, then usually used Phoshop for finishing,, specially for light and glow part,,
for cuteness actually i hard time with it to, but cuteness is highly depend on character pose and angle,, try copy another art pose first for training,, then try create pose without look another art,, it need hard work,,
but i am sure you can do it, everyone can do it,, if you don't satisfied with your colour try another colour mix, if you don't satisfied with your character style try another style,, just explore as much as you can with your art,,,

u need draw more
