Books, yeah everyone keeps telling me that, but i just can't seem to find a time to just sit down and try to read it. Maybe oneday ^^
Don't worry, the tv series is full with mistakes, I think. I watched the trailers and was already bored.
It's better reading the books, but I warn you: a lot of great characters die or suffer a lot. I almost stopped reading them: too violent. 
And they are a LOT of books and quite big. Honestly I'm thinking to stop reading them at all, I'm getting angry with the author because he is killing too many beautiful people.

Yup, I got tired by the sadism used to mistreat just the popular characters. 
And I took a look on Wikipedia, it's a big mess with strange names and plotting in every moment. Maybe you could read the comic! Unluckily it's based more on the tv series, but I saw that descriptive parts are quite similar to the books! And the drawings are well done.
A COMIC where? I never Knew they actually had one O.O
Well, in my city I have it easily, just go in a shop which sells comics and ask.
