They find me by seeing art on facebook or DA and some people hear from friends that know me or have bought art from me before. They give me a photo that they want me to draw and let me work with the drawings at home. When I'm finished I contact the buyer so they can come and pay and get the drawing. 
But I take a part of the payment in advance when I get the order to know that they are serious about buying. I didn't do that before and had bad experience with people that wouldn't pay or when I was finish they say that they don't have enough money.
I finally had enough with that since drawing an advanced portrait isn't an easy jod and it takes a lot of my time. That's why I take payment in advance.

YOU do right to get a payment beforehand, u never about friends of friends, they could be pretty painful really. Your stuff is getting better and better all the time.
Just being nosey, but how much you charge for an advanced portrait ?
To be honest, my prices are pretty generous if you compare them with professional artists. I saw an artist here in Sweden who sold graphite-drawings in big sizes where the smallest drawing was in the size A3. That drawing cost 11 000 Swedish Crowns(£1065) while I take 4200 Swedish Crowns(£407) for an A3. I know that it's not a lot for an advanced portrait, but I have to start somewhere to get noticed and slowly I will get up in prices. Right now it just feels good to earn some money on my own with something that I love to do.

so for your work do u just draw it and not colour it?
Is it very expensive to live in Sweden then- food etc., remember u saying apartments were ruddy expensive and everything else, booze is/was extortionate at one point, so do u still manage to go out at night?
I don't really go out a night that much so I don't know how much a drink of booze would cost and most pubs only allow people that are 25 or at least 21 unless you can be able to get inside without telling them your age.
