I like how Cadence is grouped with the bad guys.
This is on account of her being a bad guy. Er...girl... You know what mean!
Cadence volunteered to foal-sit Twilight with inside knowledge that Twilight would eventually have political power. She knew Shining Armor would control half the military and placed herself in position to manipulate them both.
That is a pretty awesome scenario, but it is not the case in my story. I will be honest, I would not mind reading the story where that is the plot.
I like how Lightning Dust is all up between Sombra's legs. Sombra rules her, I can tell.

I think the artist captured this perfectly.

The show itself flip-flops characters constantly, Luna's jealousy turned her from good to evil, and she is now good again.
Discord was evil and now he is reformed.
Sunset was evil and now she's left to be friends with the humanized mane 5.
If he doesn't like Characters switching personalities, he might not want to watch My Little Pony.
But that's stupid. You're not thinking about this properly. They're main characters who're too nice and shit. They're not gonna change.
Untrue, Discord made Dash, betray her friends, pinkie pie super sad/paranoid, and applejack a liar just by talking to them.
He made Fluttershy turn into a sadistic bully just by touching her.
He made the uber mane characters completly go against the very elements that they exemplify easily. Are you gonna argue he could't do the same with Cadence?
That is a villain's manipulation of a character, you made it sound like they'd just snap at any moment. Plus, Cadence is one of those "Uppity" characters that wouldn't get touched. You wouldn't understand.
You made the assumption that she was not Discorded, where if you read the first two stories that precede this one, you would not. But your assuming is to be expected when you ask about something completly out of context. I merely stated that in My little pony, characters flip personalities on a dime weather if be direct manipulation of a God of Chaos, or being hit with the elements of Harmony.
I would need you explain how Cadence simply 'wouldn't get touched' seeing as how he did it to the Mane 6, and I would really like to know what makes her immune. While you are at it, please explain how Cadence is more 'Uppity' than Pinie Pie or Fluttershy, since their upbeat personality sure didn't save them.
Because right now it sounds like Cadence couldn't become villainous becasue 'you like her too much'.
...Seriously? Why would you make Cadance a villain? I really dislike it when fanfic writers make non-villainous characters villainous just because they don't like that character for one reason or another (usually shipping). I don't say "hate" because I have seen instances where a fanfic writer makes that sort of thing work. I'm sure you have your reasons, but that alone kind of makes me wary of your story...
To understand that, you need to realize I started writing my story way before Keep Calm and Flutter On and that I will not be reforming Discord.
That being said, with giving away too much, Cadence was Discorded by Discord because it is all part of his plan that was put into motion prematurely by the arrival of an unexpected catalyst. He did so because she was essential due to her position both geographically and in terms of her being a head of state. Her influence and resources are prime for his endeavors.
You don't even have to read my prior stories to see how important Cadence is to all of these villains (with the exception of Lightening Dust.)
She's in the Crystal Empire therefore, she has access to the mirror to get Sunset, She can strike a deal with Chyrsalis because her kingdom is practically run on love, more so than enough to feed her horde. She's located in the Frozen North where Sombra is, plus Sombra is directly linked to the Crystal Empire. The Crystal Empire is by-and-far a great distance from Canterlot and therefore not under Celestia's immediate gaze. These are all great reasons for Discord to want control of Cadence.
I think Cadence could be the single greatest tool Discord could bring to bare against Celesitia, and I think he could do it easily. It also fits with why in my story she is an alicorn.
Cadence is evil because plot dictates that she should be, not because, "I don't like her".
That makes me feel a bit better. I'll be sure to check it out at some point. Though I have to wonder: Will you be posting it here, or on Fimfiction?
