Yeah, we know. We forgot hair ties. Next con. xD

A mask is made out of two short plastic baskets put together covered with black fabric and mesh (so we can see) with little LED lights for the eyes. The "shroom part" is two plastic inflatable tube floaties (the stuff little kids wear in the water around themselves) on top of each other covered in fabric. The "dress" is just dyed fabric sheets cut to size with a hula hoop to make it puff out. We also stuck dog squeakers in the hands so we could squeak whenever we were hit by Sora or Riku. xD

OMG I haven't played KH 1 in months I remember that the do squeak everytime the get hit or when they jump! The way you guys made it is genius! In the future do you mind if I use this concept, By friend loves cosplay and im taking a year off to work on my skills so im doing most of them for her! In your opinion what cosplay would look good for a girl that you guys pulled off already.

Go for it! I'm honored that you would want to follow our design. Most of the stuff (like the inflatable swim gear) we got on sale since we made these in September, so that helped cut down the cost.

Hmmm....do you mean Kingdom Hearts cosplay? Or cosplay in general? It depends on what series she likes and what she is comfortable in. At least for Kingdom Hearts, most of the girl's outfits suck (in my opinion--I'm just not a big fan of shirt skirts and all that jazz). However, any gender can pull off a heartless or an Organization XIII member (since most of them have girly faces). xD

She hates Skirts and if I make a cosplay that has a skirt then she puts pants under it. Also as far as genre is concern she's an crazy lovable Otaku so any will do. granted so far all cosplays have been kh and 1 vocaloid.

Well, what I typically do when I'm searching for cosplay ideas is visit sites like CosplayMagic (www.cosplaymagic.com/) and browse their collection. I never buy anything, but it does give me ideas for future outfits and what that outfit may entail (since CosplayMagic gives you multiple views). I know that their outfits aren't 100% accurate, but it's a start.

I've actually never done a cosplay that didn't involve a skirt/dress so I'm not sure how much of a help I can be. *sweatdrops* If she wants to cross dress, I know a bunch of male characters with cool outfits that she can be. While I do know some female, that selection is waaaay fewer. Sorry.

thats cool she's mostly a cross dresser anyway. But cosplaymagic.com I will check out now. What would you recommend that's been the best for you? Regardless of skirts being involved.

Well, the Mushroom Heartless cosplay was a blast! Especially since it's easy to wear and practically everybody recognized us. ^^

However, Erza Scarlet from the series Fairy Tail was really fun since I had a sword and my brother was Jellal from the same series. Caterina Sforza from Trinity Blood I put the most work into since my brother and I (he was Father Tres) actually competed in those outfits; however B.T. from .hack//SIGN is one of my favs since it's a light dress, yet I still have a giant staff prop. ^^

In a nutshell, it's not the particular outfit that makes cosplay fun; it's getting a group or another person to cosplay with you. Although, carrying a prop always helps in my opinion. ^^
