The models are nice but the picture looks like it was taken by a camera or Cell phone

Yeah that's my idea of renders. I don't like overly clean or perfect images. I want to do something that would look more beliveable likt it was filmed or photographed.

I see. So you blurred the image somehow?

There are a few steps I take in order to achieve that style. Firstly I overexpose the brightly lit areas (to add excessive gloss and glows) then make the darkest areas appear as if they had slightly blue hue to them (there are almost no 100% black surfaces here, although compression slightly breaks that). I also apply chromatic abberation and a layer of tiny dust speckles, but those are only really visible in full resolution render.
