This. Is. Amazing! Though I hope the throne is based on the books. I would have Sakura Kinomoto or Ami Mizuno on the throne.

Thanks! Haha well I used the latest release cover art for the books as a reference? Haha I haven't had the chance to read the books yet but isn't the Throne the same? 0_0

I'm just a bit anal when it comes to people not knowing of/reading source material. That is not to say I don't enjoy adaptions. Some beat the original, like the films of TLoR for exmaple (expect the whole 'Arwen's life is connected to the Ring" bullshit and the 2003 FMA anime.

Ahh I see. I don't usually care about people reading source material. I feel people can enjoy only one adaption if that is what they want to do. :) With Sailor Moon for example, I know each adaption inside and out(except all the musicals) and certainly find the manga to be the best version of the story. If I were to talk to someone who was only a fan of the english dub which is vastly different and odd, that would be ok! To each their own, I may disagree on the details but we both love Sailor Moon and that is what matters! Haha

That being said, I fully intend to read the books for GoT and I do own them. I am just waiting for the show to finish. I prefer watching the shows then reading the original if I can. Though sometimes I've read the books before any other adaption is in the works, haha! Otherwise I find I'm nit picking and judging the adaption too much.

Well, that is very true. I like both the mange and anime versions of “Sailor Moon”, but like you, perfer the manga. I’ve watched some of the musicals and they are quite good. But like you, I would not hate someone for not liking what I do. But when people start bitching at me about the ‘stupid’ reasons why I don’t like/dislike something they do, then I have a problem.

Well, have a good bit of time aside, they are looooong, as I’m sure you know.

Heh, I’m the opposite. I always read/watch/listen to, etc the original first, and while I do note the inevitable changes, I still try to (and often do) enjoy the adaptation.
