That's perfectly logical! I always struggle with texture when it's on a larger scale, but I like how you used "squiggly lines" to give the impression that it's velvet. I tend to zoom in on your drawings, I always learn from you by zooming in on certain details, especially when it baffles me how you did it. 
if you want I could email you the high res version and you could really see what I get up to XD I know you're not about to go selling prints and shit off my work XD
