It's a Soul Eater reference- Blair's a black cat with a huge amount of magical power that wears a witch's hat and whose powers are pumpkin-oriented.
..My mind is now blown. I did not know this xDDDD
Did I forget to mention she has a human form? :3
I assume they're refering to Blair from Soul Eater, who is a very similar looking cat that flys around on pumpkins ^_^
Oh my bad XD I have never seen (played?) Soul Eater.
It's a great show, I'd recommend it.
