Well, yes they pushed the evil intu Kael and Ilidan, as they were more chaotic neutral in W3 but it was a path that they were bound to end in, for Blizard Demons=Evil, so they skiped the part where they grow intu the evil and just tossed them at it.
Now Kael joined the Legion so yeah hard to argue there, but in that case all Warlocks should become raid bosses, as Kael just wanted the power to feed his people, but after he got it he wanted more and more, they just rushed the essential part of the transition between:
(sacrificing all for his people) ==> to the ==>(sacrifice his people for power)
That middle part would have given some context, and I agree about Arthas, the middle part for him was killing the villagers in Hearthglen and forcing his people to hunt Malganis in Northrend.
