For an instant, the male believed he smelled something sweet, something unusually so. Such a sweet scent that did not match the stale murky nearly smog like air of the cave. He noted the small crystals that faintly illuminated some of the cavern, particularly some of the more dank portions of the chamber. Under normal circumstances, the male would be vaguely fascinated by the cavern, as it was a cavern unlike one he had seen before in Ooo. Even that in itself was a rarity. The sounds of animals, insects and or otherwise squealing in fright and skittering away put him on high alert after his state of subtle disorientation. He remembered that being in such a place, one that he knew nothing of, was of course logically bad, and even 'bad' was an understatement of the gravity of his situation. It was far more dangerous to remain where he was, he'd have to find his way out. It was at this point where he noted the blue eyes in the dark, he wasn't able to tell how close or how far this creature was, only that it was staring right at him. He struggled to get back on his feet once more, only managing to kneel at the moment. The fall had battered his body greatly, he was lucky enough as it was to have not broken anything in the fall, if not practically blessed, even so the impact of the fall alone seemed to practically cripple him on its own.

He immediately heard the scraping of claws against the ground and rock beneath him and this odd being. From what he could tell as it neared her, it wasn’t all that big, smaller than 4 feet for sure. Soon, it came into view revealing itself as a masked, stout young woman, clad in nothing at all as her dark skin shone under the light that peaked through from above. The male could see a long, skeletal tail swaying behind her, an odd blue flame at the tip that would flicker brightly and quickly. She hissed softly, her form becoming very tense, noticeable muscles becoming taught against her flesh as she spoke out in a hushed, soft tone, deep and powerful yet oddly soothing.
“Who are you, what business do you have here…why is their hole above these sacred caves…Did you cause it? Speak!” She questioned and demanded his response, blue eyes now black behind the mask, covering her expression and giving her an almost supernatural feel.

In all his life, Lucrane had seen many a creature in the ranks of the supernatural, many of which have attempted to take his head off in the past. Monsters by all means, some horrific, if not beastly and others vaguely mystifying, but nothing could have prepared him for this. He saw this...creature, this... female beast as strange, unlike anything he'd ever truly scene, not because of this creature's human form or its features but of this strange sense of dread if not this unsettling feeling that he had when he laid his eyes upon it. He knew instantly before she even spoke, solely based on her behavior that he had disturbed her home, or rather what he assumed to be her home.
The smoke and dust from the disaster area started to clear as he continued speaking. Once the murk finally dispursed, it revealed a man, possibly no older than thirty or so, dark skin resulting from the sun's rays, this strange murky red hair, appearing as though one had doused his hair with some mud before having arrived in her home. His still focused if not practically dead brown eyes stared at her blankly, making no effort to look away or to look at her various...areas, they were poised focused on her face...staring at the expressionless mask. He wore a sepia flight jacket-like coat which was worn over various more odd pieces of cushion-like  attire which may have explained how he survived such a fall with little to no real damage to his person. All other parts of him were irrelevant.
He looked up at her, still remaining silent for some time before finally speaking, a tired, laconic, if not completely unhurried tone. His voice was somewhat gruff but at the same time quite lively, "Does it really matter?" He said plainly, if not utterly dryly. "If you were going to kill me, you should have just done it now.." He had no loathing in his voice as he said this, no sign of loathe or true despise, nor despair. "I probably wouldn't be angry with you for killing me anyway."He said with unusual ease. "Though I wonder if you'd actually want to kill an innocent man."

She watched him with a unwavering cold stare, watching his lips move as he spoke, pacing around him in circles like some predator. “I see I see, I don’t sense any bad aura on you and your moral alignment seems fine…I don’t see any reason in killing someone ‘innocent’ as you say. I am just merely a guardian..protecting an underground society.” She spoke bluntly, not worrying on having to hide her beloved home.

"Huh." He replied, "Interesting." He said plainly, as he struggled to get back on his feet, still unable to do so due to the intensity of the fall. He kept his eyes focused on her face, rather than looking a anything more of hers. "So then you are a guardian for an underground society..." He said taking a moment to look around. "By the looks of things I still haven't arrived in said society...if anything I just fell in into a normal chamber of one of the caves.." He said taking a moment to look around once more. He continued to attempt to stand back up several times until he just laid back among the rocks out of exhaustion. "...So then, does the mighty guardian have a name?"

"My name is Shilo, Monsieur...and yours? Since you are not any threat? Would you like me to tend to your wounds? You're...rather hurt" Her strong voice was replaced with a motherly one, caring as she walked up to him fully, standing up on both legs as to seem more normal to the human. She was now in full view before him, still standing at a very small height, ruffling out the fur that was on her neck. "I'd be more than happy to help..."

"My name is Lucrane Fosser." He said remaining sprawled out on the rubble and rock. He still retained eye-contact with her, not entirely desiring to look away due to his interest in her face. Being frank he was surprised by her change in 'tune', to see her behaving more like some doting wife than a fearsome guardian. He strained to sit up, he had no secondary intentions in mind, why would he have any? Though he was 'man', his mind was quite detached to such concepts as 'lust'. He chuckled slightly, "I appreciate the help that the fearsome guardian is offering me." He said now with light amusement, though an overall apathetic tone. "I suppose I may have to pay you back for the help."

“No, No, it’s absolutely fine, Monsieur Fosser.” Her voice was now nothing but a hush as chanted out a small spell, her hands glowed a soft, pale blue as it shone against the both of them. It was like the flame on her tail, which seemed to glow and burst into a bigger flame as she chanted, an odd blue swirl wisping around the bone. “Now I want you to relax, this may sting…but you have quite a few gashes, a large one on your arm and a medium one along the side of your calf…” She rest her small hands along the bloody wound, the magic working slowly as he could feel his own skin begin to come together again.
