If I've ever seen someone get angry for no reason, it was right here. Sewers are definitely part of Skyrim and most other provinces in Tamriel, but he just said there's no plumbing. That's where their waste flows, it flows down to where all the Dunmer are FORCED to live.
"The Dunmer are the cause of all of their problems in Windhelm, it is their racist attitudes in the city for the last 200 ish years."
That's a good example of "what the fuck is he trying to say." But, sorry bud, gonna have to say no. Even if I decode that with some aphopenia cryptology mad skill shit, it still doesn't make any sense, so, no. Just no, that never happened. Jarl Ulfric is a massive cunt who is obsessive over power, I'm not sure how you don't realize that but apparently Bethesda made his powers of persuasion so high even a couple folks like yourself were brought to your knees by them, so I'll try to show you the truth.
Brunwulf a cowardly betrayer of his land? Brunwulf is courageous if I've ever seen it. To live in a city of such extreme oppression and still fight for the rights of other species? It's like going on a campaign for jews in World War II Berlin, he is definitely no coward. If Ulfric is killed, he is made Jarl and actually tries to assimilate the Argonians into Windhelm, and also tries to renovate the Gray Quarter to improve life for the Dunmer, because he's a real free-thinker, and doesn't conform to some cocky, impatient racist guy who thinks sitting on a throne in some cold, backwards-ass ancient nordic city entitles him to fuckin everthing. The book A Dream of Sovngarde is written by Skardan Free-Winter, who is a soldier who fought the Thalmor with the Empire, and seems to be a relative of Brunwulf Free-Winter. Good read, I would recommend it - oh wait, my bad, you're the skyrim extraordinaire here, I'm sure you've read it. And just to top it all off, if you kill Ulfric, when you go to Sovngarde you may speak to him, and he openly expresses that he actually regrets what he did. Oh, and don't insult Balgruuf, he's top bro tier.

I'll give you that one about the plumbing, I mixed up sanitation, my bad -'J
But the dunmer are NOT forced to live in the grey quarter in windhelm, in fact there are a few that do not live there; Luafin and Idesa live in the stonequarter and Volunstrad respectively, the greyquarter was where most of the dunmer of windhelm had chosen to live ever since they arrived in the city which was around 200ish years ago
If you listen to so many of the dunmer they say they will not help the Stormcloaks because the war is not their fight, yet they can be encountered heading to Solitude to join the legion as well as in the cornerclub they fly an imperial banner... doesn't seem to be a stance of neutrality, eh.

Have you ever read the Decree of Monument? dunmer in Skyrim who do not wish to assimilate into the culture are allowed to be independently self governed and untithed to any hold or thane, this means they are untaxed and therefore do not support the hold in any way, the Stormcloaks don't want them to fight for them, but to not be a drain on resources but rather contribute would be nice, this is why Ulfric gave them the Grey-Quarter, they want to remain untithed and therefore uninvolved in any way with the war, this allowes for it, only now their homes are their responsibility and they don't like that kind of menial task. I think it is both generous and fair, I'd have probably kicked them out as I can relate to welf's taking advantage of a community (we used to have a real problem here with people who take advantage of the system)

Brunwulf: you have probably heard alot of his talk, and I admit It sounds like he genuinely cares, but not many people look into it further, for instance his manipulation of words, he tries to compare villages in the hold to travellers on the road, obviously Villages are more important but he insinuates that Ulfric doesn't lift a finger to help when if you investigate the hold and the sites of these attacks it is clear by signed decrees By Ulfric himself that he has been and has issued warnings on way posts and bounties on bandits, that very same group of bandits Brunwulf talks about, thak to Jorlief, Ulfric has issued a bounty on them.
And lets not forget Brunwulfs conversation with that dunmer fellow, he tells him he will discuss things with Ulfric to make things better... do yourself a favour and attend that meeting in the palace of kings and see the TRUE face of Brunwulf!
And who would you want in power of a hold, someone who opposes war when an enemy like the dominion is still planing on obliterating you and your nation, or do you want someone who is willing to stand against tyranny. (In WW2 who do you want leading the people against the Nazis, Churchhill or Ghandi?)

I have read the book, but thanx for the recommendation :)

Have you ever talked to Ulfric in depth and got to know his character? if you speak to him before you first go to High Hrothgar you get extensive dialogue about his back story, He was training to be a greybeard, he grew up in High Hrothgar, but when the war with the dominion broke out he couldn't stand doing nothing while his people were fighting and dying for their freedom so he left and was told by doing so he would never be allowed to return.
Being a Greybeard was all he really wanted in life, he didn't desire power or to rule, even when he became Jarl, he didn't ask for it, the people demanded it, and it was his love for the people that compelled him to accept. You will also notice throughout the entire Stormcloak campaign he seeks the end that will limit bloodshed and shows moral concern for those on both sides of the conflict, hardly the power hungry barbarian he's made out to be by the empire.

Balgruuf: I don't need to insult him, saying it as it is is truly enough, nothing I mentioned about him is false.
Do you want someone ruling a hold who can't even rule his own family? or someone that abandons his children when given all the time he needs to gather his household and belongings?... I could goon about the truths about Balgruuf, but I have a feeling you would just stop reading them anyway, like you do in game I presume -'J

Thanks for the response, sorry about the last message, I was frustrated when i accidentally deleted my first message, it was miss directed -'J
