Because members are allowed to start their pokemon at any level (within reason; generally, the rule of thumb is to keep it close to age if the pokemon is untrained, and over leveled pokemon are addressed during app checks), we do not have a strict leveling system in place for PMA. If members wish to change their pokemon character's levels, they're only required to note us to let us know and to give us a reason (character revamps, recent events (training a lot, overcame a great obstacle, been helping many pokemon out, etc), roleplaying lots of battles, etc) to justify the level change. We don't want to force level ups on characters who aren't supposed to be buff, and we don't want to restrict rapid growth or strength for characters if it makes them all ooc.
