Wow. Those are some really dumb claims that you are making here. Minecraft was available at launch on the PS4, the controller for it has received much more praise than the Xbox One controller. PS4 on paper has better hardware and a lot more first-party developers who all delivered great hits and critical successes last generation in a variety of genres (Infamous-series, Uncharted-series, Last of Us, Killzone, Ni No Kuni, Journey, Heavy Rain, Beyond, Last of Us, God of War, Little Big Planet, Tales of Xilia, etc).
On top of that it's $100 less.
In the end people play on the console they prefer, and most make an educated decision based on what games will come out on it in the future. Very few future PS4 owners chose the PS4 because it is "shinier". If you want Xbox for Halo and Gears, be my guest, that's all fine and dandy, Halo and Gears are fun games, no question about that! But whatever your console of choice is, it will have very little relation to your 'smarts', and if you actually believe it does then you need to get your head out of your ass.
