Sorry to hear about your art/job troubles. I'm in the same boat, and it's a pain because it's hard to know how much effort to put into it, when perhaps I should be spending that time and effort on re-directing myself.
That said, even your doodles floor me. So fluid, and a powerfully unique vision.
