Omj. He was drunk.  I see a bottle of liquor on the desk, and why is there no seat at the desk? Probably because he stumbled over something while trying to open the desk thingy and as he fell, he got himself wrapped in the curtains and so was struggling because somehow the belt thingy got itself round his neck, and as he struggled he ripped the map off the wall thingy and he tightened the belt a lot while struggling and theeeeen, he died! Mystery solved!
