that is one of the reasons i have given on this pairing. not only was it unpopular, some of its shippers are even terrible (like the ones who make taiwan like some bitch idk). i was even ashamed to call myself a fan of pirihon. i can't even the reputation of this pairing anymore W OW I'M OUT OF HERE

I kinda wish I said something sooner tbh, but idk if it would have made much of a difference. I just think it's really sad that a fandom can ruin a ship for someone just with ratty behaviour like that. PiriHon has a lot of potential, but when the fans of the ship itself feel the need to antagonise someone else or w/e over the ship, it doesn't help at all. I mean, you were honestly one of the best PiriHon shippers I'd met - I know you weren't a fan of Japan/Taiwan, but you didn't need to make such a huge point out of it, which is the way those shippers should have behaved.

I was like that with ships in other fandoms tbh. The ship was cute, but the way the fans behaved towards the female character/s who were linked to either one or both characters in the ship was just so disgusting that I had to abandon the ship because the bashing stigma was so prominent.
And I think it's such a shame when that happens too, because it's not the other pairing or character's fault, the fans are the ones ruining it. u___u
