Sorry, I just saw your comment and I couldn't help thinking, "this person has very good English, BUT he or she must be German!" :) Then I checked and I saw that my guess had been right (at least your profile page says that you live in Germany). It was the verb 'to remind' that gave you away - it only works with the prepositions of or about, but never with at (or to, like my boyfriend who is German used to say :)).

Anyway, I hope you don't mind me correcting you :) I only did it because I saw that you care about precision and that's quite admirable. Have a great day!

Not at all, in the contrary. In fact, this sentence still looked awkward to me; I just couldn’t figure it out though. Many greetz to both of you, your sensitivity about Denglisch is highly appreciated!  And yes – it’s not only the false friends, but also these d… preps making trouble~ So thanks a lot for noticing! :D

Hence yet the only thing I really dislike about dA, that the comments could not be edited, as there’re enough cases left for correcting the own worst typos or lapsus linguae, even if one previews two, three, or more times before posting (see above). For reasons of clarity and comprehensibility, editing would IMO help improving the level of common parlance(??) here and in the forums.
Anyway, now let’s close here. I didn’t mean to hijack the Master’s thread. :P                                     PS: … want a llama?? Psychotic
