For Christmas you should put some colored orbs on him and such so that he looks like a Christmas tree. Also, if you put a second skrall shield beside the other one so that they're both facing inward, you would solve the color problem. However it appears that you would need to change the mount that it's on
I don't think I could get away with making a living pine tree MOC without decorating him! Perhaps Spore could be the angel sitting on his head.
(I'd thought about putting a second Skrall shield there, but remember that the blade tips would then be pointing in opposite directions and would have a gap in between them, which I didn't really think was much of an improvement.)
