My response was not childish or anything. I said what I thought. What's childish is you checking out people's profiles and attacking them. Ok? And generalizing one thing they do to make a whole new person out of them in your head.

Please don't appear in my comments again v_v It's so disappointing when it turns out to be you.

It is childish. You do not have to post an insult on an artist's post with lacking proper criticism when saying something is not proper art.
And no worries. I don't do not ever follow those who do not seek to improve themselves. :)

This one does have a bit of a theme and again I agree it's nice photography. However some don't. Regardless it should have a filter, because most of these pictures can still be considered as mature.
This site's getting more loose with it's rules and I see worse all the time. It's very easy for kids/young teens to see this and with photo's like this they are usually faved into folders such as "hot babes", "ass", etc.
If any photo can be put into such category's it should be hard to get to.

As far as kids/young teens doing that... If they are underage and have a folder called, "ass," that person can be viewed like any member and asked to have their folder name changed to keep it appropriate even if it's a bunch of softcore pin-ups, and like any Lilly Allen's, 'Little Alfie,' chances are they're running around with a false age, a darn near empty account, so not much even Mature Content can hide, unless parents have found a way to keep an eye on their kids. :( (Keylogging maybe? Haha.)

And probably on this being placed in mature might save anyone the effort of having to read angry comments. XD  Only maybe. I'd think most adults would be beyond thinking it's a big deal that an artist who's work they had added to favorites--  suddenly did something barely as risque as the picture they added to favorites.  (In the mean time some adults are still (not so)Little Alfies of course. >_> Haha. smh)

Well I do find this type of art conflicting myself. It's one of those things were the shots are nice but you feel like their getting credit and faves for the bodies alone. It's a good way to get your art noticed.. and obviously it does have a erotic appeal considering half the comments are men drooling. In the end, the woman has a nice body and the photo's are good quality. I personally do not like the art cause even though I don't have a terrible body, I sadly find it offensive. Just a shy person so I stay away from this stuff but it's always on Deviants front page. Also NormalIdeal was confronting the artist for an answer so at least she was interested in her view. Final statement, this photography is considered art but some girls will still find it offensive and it might even make them feel a bit terrible about themselves, so why risk making half your viewers feel uncomfortable? The artist is most likely aware people judging her work in a negative way so if it bugs her I'm sure she'd say something.

I agree with a lot of that, however we should never shame anyone of any body type even if it is something that makes us feel humbled or jealous. Fashion already does that enough. It's up to us to learn to love and accept what we got, and make the most of it, while be happy for those who have found a way to keep a certain physique -which is not easy considering the price of health. Honestly it's the one thing that irritates me most about my own gender: We have feminists -- yet when they're in their normal every day life I've seen the same type diss women just for taking time on simple things- like taking care of their nails so they don't snag or break so easily. Hair treatment, and so on. Small things that just take a bit of a day out of the rest of it being most likely hectic/busy.

Yes there are probably men drooling and wishing they can get an erotic artistic model's phone number, but I think most of them should know better by now. Nude and non-nude semi erotic art... does not mean easy. :)
Most I'd imagine. Not all. Pretty sure pictures like these tend to draw all sorts of attention in the inbox. (Sounds like a headache to me. ;P ) However this picture isn't even close to being extremely daring in the sense of erotic art. To me it will always remain a cute metaphor for when a guy is shy with a girl, and rather than feel humbled, yes she rocks her own shape, but since it is a faceless image- it's a bit of a reminder than any woman could have that same effect on a man. Yeah, it's a bit misleading. When we remember our time making a guy shy we might feel --- like 'that,' (Shy Teddy image) while in reality? Insert something maaaaybe less appealing. Bahaha. Doesn't change the fact-- this even expresses a mood of a moment, a scene, and so on.. so I will still deem it as good art. Haha.

Yeefi, I don't agree with everything you say, but what you said here : "... but since it is a faceless image- it's a bit of a reminder than any woman could have that same effect on a man." I think is really interesting ! I was thinking about the reasons she doesn't show her face on her pictures and what it meant, and I think, even though I'm not sure it was her point, it's an original one and it makes the picture more interesting. Too bad we never hear about the artist's point of view on the pictures. Or maybe she does, I never read many comments.

Haha. It's a theory. Since yeah....... Not much is heard from Miss Slawa. :)

Yeah, I feel like all these arguments quite amuse her though, haha. But anyway, I also wanted to say : seriously, stop arguing "Is it art? Is it not art?" I'm tired of seeing always the same comments. Can't you all accept that it's just a question of opinion and that you're NOT gonna magically convince each other ? (particularly after you've started insulting each other.) It's just a question of feeling and taste and also, character. Art shouldn't be a subject of arguments like this. You don't like this, then don't linger on the piece, why even bother to comment? to me, it's time wasted.

Eh- who can tell what she's thinking? Haha. However, I've studied years ago that there is two kinds of art; no matter what it is- "Ones that move you, and ones that don't. It's a piece of the artist's mind, and work that make it art." Though it's considered improper art if it moves you- I find more art-worthy. Unfortunately sometimes that move it causes is someone to sometimes be disgusted with the artist. XD

Waste of time? If at a possible but usually unlikely chance of someone learning something new- time not wasted, just the words. :)
