I believe it was done completely on the spot. I did sketched the face and neck using the skin color, but that was filled in with no erasing of the original lines.

Just a quick suggestion, I'm not against watermarks, in fact most of my art on here uses them. But just as a suggestion, try not to have the focal point of the art piece (in this case the face) be in the center of the picture if your going to use a water mark. This is because the water mark will obscure the focal point, like here it is hard to see her face and make out her features.
This is just a suggestion, you can totally ignore it if you want, or even hide this comment if you so desire..

Yeah, I wanted a watermark on it from the beginning. I was actually hoping that it would be near her face, on some sketches they seems less noticeable, I was disappointed when I saw how obvious the mark was this time. I agree with you though, it is hard to make out some of the details and ... Ever since Jazz-DaFunk had piracy issues here I've been afraid of art thieves.

Maybe you could make your own Watermark with whatever program you use. Create a picture that is transparent yet is still noticeable and add it as a layer to all your pictures.
