I wish I could see that one in person when it's finished - I am sure it will be impressive!

Well, we are not that far away from each other.
If you recommend a few interessante deutsche Conventions, we could meet there :D

Still looking for at least one big convention in Germany.

ggg - If you ever make it to one let me know, there are too few Skyrim fans at conventions. The only one I am certain I will so far attend is Dokomi in June. Though like most larger conventions that is manga/anime focused, but it's fairly large and there are a lot of other cosplays, too. Animexx.de has a list of the events animexx.onlinewelten.com/event…

Probably a few local onces that are close enough so I don't need to book a hotel will be added over the year.

Hm… Maybe it'll be Gamescom in Köln, but not sure yet.
Will already attend a convention in May not far away from here.
And also the MPS (Mittelalterliches Phantasie Spektakel) when it comes to our place :)

Germany has so many Conventions… I'd be glad if we could have a few more.
We only have like 2 I know of.

I considered the gamescon, too, because it's less manga orientated but have not made up my mind yet.

I can afford only one or two conventions per year. I want to save my money for real holidays at a beach or something…
But if Germany, then definitely the Gamescom, because Bethesda is there, hahahah :D
And yeah, less Manga and probably less furries.

Yeah, doning Skyrim armor to go looking for progress on upcoming Bethasda projects would be fun.
If you do decide to go, let me know - Gamescon would be a 2 hour drive for me - do-able without a hotel reservation so I could be spontaneous and hopefully there will be tickets available all day since it's a fair.

(With Dokomi and Connichi you better make reservations, first time I went without a ticket I couldn't get a 1-day one anymore and had to pay for a weekend pass, the second day a friend did not get either anymore by 11 in the morning).

I don't mind the Furries so much, many of them are quiet perfectionists when it comes to their costumes and craft skill and you can learn a thing or two.

Yeah, that's what I wanted to do.
But the TESO would be released in March I guess, not sure what they want to show in August.

Dokomi and Connichi are more Anime/manga themed, so I'd better take something games related here.
I don't watch and read manga/anime that much anymore.

Depends on what furries we're talking about. I know from another convention I was last year,
where a group of furries got all excited and hugged each other and whatnot.
That was a bit over the top.
