Sorry, guess I was misreading your notes. You do make a very good point. I know a professional inker who is a long time friend who is not a penciller... which is not to say he is not capable. Indeed professionals working at your level are almost certainly proficient at both however when it comes to inking another person's work, it may just be my opinion (because you would certainly know better than I) that not all inkers are created equal. I find some too exactly follow the penciller, which isn't so bad as when some inkers bury the penciller beneath their work but I think really good inks can be when both styles show through and yield results greater than the sum of their parts.
