Discovery must've known Eileen was there, she smelled her.

She sure did! Shuttles have a very acute sense of smell as well, and good hearing. They can actually hear a human's heartbeat...

Wow that's incredible.

Why didn't she make a move then? Could she tell Eileen was a nice human if in her eyes there is such a thing anymore?

That's cool and creepy at the same time. The glowing eyes sounds like a good prank to pull on Pete or Carl. Get them someplace very dark and very spooky and then have them see the glowing eyes of a shuttle behind them.

That is hilarious and spooooky! Pete will be running away and screaming in fright in a few seconds there.

At first she couldn't tell. Eileen demonstrates her kindness later, when she saves Disco. Disco just didn't know it then because she couldn't see her.

Right, but she knew Eileen was there and we know how she doesn't trust humans. Why didn't she attack Eileen? She growled yes but doesn't she usually growl and bite simultaneously?

Disco really wasn't in the mood to do anything, and she only lashes out if they really bother her (try to tickle or poke her and prod her)) Besides she knew if she attacked she would be beaten. She didn't much care for a human near her but she didn't want to get another beating again.

Not surprising. It seems like whenever someone handles her, another person always has a whip handy in case things get out of hand. No wonder Disco's so angry at humans. Talk about mistreatment!

Oh yes! Though they don't have whips, they just have chains to restrain her. Only Gordon carries the whip.
