Of course, otherwise the new map will be a tangled mess, like the current map. 
i think we should have some actuall roads... not just random zig-zags of an avenue 
Come to think of it, we need actual towns! On the current world, we have one example of urban sprawl, and a bunch of one, maybe two house settlements. You know what I mean?
