Thanks Bernard! I find the original to be quite lacking in contrast also. It was never meant to be a drawing originaly, I had just purchased some new ballpoint pens and when I got home I decided to test the colours and all I had at hand was an old sheet of glossy photograph paper. Not a very ballpoint pen friendly surface..haha I started it almost a year ago and finally finished it last week...btw, I'm still working on our ECs and being back on DA has renewed my creative juices so I should have something in the mail for you soon...promise

Actually, I have some bad news...last night my wonderful 13 yr old daughter accidently knocked over my coffee mug and spilled coffee on the drawing that I was supposed to send you...

Deborah suggested I send it to you anyways and that you might have fun doing something with the coffee stain....the splash pattern does present some interesting possibilities...The paper is 8"x11" with my half on the left and the stain starts from the left as a perfectly horizontal band about 4 cm wide extending across to the right dividing the upper and lower sections of the page perfectly in half and fans out about 11 cm from the left edge producing an explosive effect into the right half....it kind of looks like part of a forearm and wrist fanning out into a hand with misshapen fingers extending into the right half of the page...another interesting thing is that in the strip that would be exposed to you, you can see a matador facing the right and the splash is exploding out of his body....I still want to start a fresh one for you but what do you think? Should I send this one anyways?
