I wish I could get some kind of drawing tablet or something similar; I'd be able to draw without parts of the image being chopped off. Or, failing that, at least get a pen or Sharpie marker.

You can stick your piece to another piece of paper. And draw here what was chopped off.
Maybe not the best method but I used it a lot.
You also can do quick light sketch to be sure pic will be placed right in sheet. )

And of course I wish you'll get tablet some day, it's a great tool.
I have really cheap one and it perfectly works for me many years.

Another reason I want a tablet is so I can circumvent using a scanner. Trust me, my drawings look WAY better on the paper than they do here. The scanner...well, scans them in a really poopy quality.

Oh you're right... every scanner kills pencil. I do sketches by pencil too, then scan it, so I know the problem.
I've seen good pencil scans some times, but I don't know how on earth people are doing that!

Back to the subject of this piece (the one we're commenting on), you could actually make a political cartoon from all this. Soldier represents the United States, and Sniper represents...well, everywhere else :XD:
I'm from the USA, so I should know :P

Oh haha, yeah... Soldier seems to be really like a whole walking cartoon on the USA :D (Big Grin)
