Nod

I thought scanning/taking pics of drawings was a pain in the ass, but paintings are sooo much worse. Grump

Oh yeah! :)
I only use diffused daylight without takin' a flash or something. I usually take a place near my living room window.... the light is best there in the afternoon.
It'll be up to you to find a proper place yourself. :)

I'll definitely try taking it in daylight next time, maybe there'll be less of a glare then. Do you do any touch-ups in photoshop afterwards, or just leave it as it is?

Till today, i don't even have Photoshop. :D I only correct things like contrast a bit,  usin' IrfanView, ha! :) If you have a good place to take pictures, you don't need programs like photoshop and such.

Awesome, that's what I was hoping for. I'm having the same problem with drawings that are too big for my scanner, it's such a mess to patch 'em together in photoshop.. Hopefully I'll figure out how to take some decent pictures soon. ;P

What? You "glued" them all together, piece by piece???? Hell!!!!!

Haha, yeah. A small A4 scanner and a lot of A3 drawings... It's not a good combo :P
