How d you use apophysis? And what's chaotica?
I have a few tutorials in my own gallery, and you should also be able to find resources for it on my profile page at the bottom left ;o
Chaotica is another program that can create and render fractals, however I tend to use it more for its rendering speed and to add details and make minor adjustments rather than use it to create fractals for now. I'm still waiting for the UI to be more polished before working on tutorials for it, but it is getting closer to that point all the time.
