If they're anything like the tricks Addam has been trying to teach me, then I'm doubly impressed! I feel like my mind has been blown in the last couple of months as far as processing, and I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around it. Very overwhelming!
Haha and what are some of the things he's been showing you?
Stuff like luminosity masks, different sharpening techniques, dodge and burn layers...the Tony Kuyper actions for PS.
Ah ya this image has all that. I use a specific web sharpening technique for this one above and then for my print sharpening I'll usually apply a High-Pass filter, it also helps punch through water-spray a tad. Tony Kuyper's actions are the BEST! I use his saturation/vibrance masks all the time. Make sure Addam shows you how to perform those, they help so much with color corrections.
Oh, I'll make sure I learn those as well. I'm all the time struggling with color correction! I'll have to look into new ways to handle print sharpening as well.
Ya color correction was frustrating for me to learn too and honestly is probably the most dry part of editing for me.
