I like the new font for "Percy Jackson" too, especially with the trident!Y. Although, I must say, that scene looks slightly more appropriate for The Last Olympian? unless it's s reference to something in TLT that I've forgotten about..

yeah I don't really get the statue either but I really do like the new logo too! You're right about the scene though... most of the lightning thief stuff isn't really in the city of new York... but I guess I'm okay with it 
haha yes! I suppose they do go back to Mt. Olympus/Empire State Building at the very end, but the water reminds me of the Hudson/East River scene in TLO.

yeah and there's some smoke in the labyrinth cover that might be from TLO?
