It is popular amongst Eastern European cooking. It is cooked pork and rice.
Pretty much exactly like blood sausage but without the blood. :XD:

but i wouldn't touch blood sausage..dont see the need for the blood

The dish comes from when they used up every part of an animal, including the blood. Waste not, want not.
