Wow! This really looks great! The blue and purple colors in the background give a snowy, cold feeling that really works great. Makes the red hat show up nicely. Nice, nice!

I love everything in that picture :love:
The girl is perfect here in that pose that is kind of innocent but "inviting" at the same time =D
The simplicity of the surrounding focuses the eye on the subject.

Thanks, Karen. It was a fun shoot. I snapped a couple candid shots of her a few weeks ago, and could tell that she'd do well in the studio, so I asked if she'd stop in sometime. An unusual move for me--I'm a little shy about asking people to model for me. She was awesome, though--she has had lots of dance lessons, and some modeling experience. What a treat!

You're right--the extra colors *do* lend a feeling of coldness. I wonder how I managed *that*? :) I guess luck plays a part... ;)
