A planet being docked into the surface of a Dyson sphere, perhaps? The sheer size of these structures would boggle the mind.
Albeit a dyson sphere would be rather smooth on the outside - and larger... oh! Got it. The *inside* surface is what you mean. That'd be (1) possible and (2) really magnificient!
