Ah I just looked that up, nice camera! =O No wonder why ur getting all these Kool shots! I got a Fujifilm digital, it hates taking night photos let alone the moon

It is certainly more challenging getting good night photography with a point and shoot camera, not impossible though.

But it is a fact that you will get much further with a good camera and lens than not when it comes to auroras and the night sky.

I know auroras are your specialty but have u ever been interested in taking wildlife as well?? Like animals and such?? :o You are my favourite deviant to watch here on this site I cant believe how beautiful the northern lights are :boogie:

Oh yes certainly.

Im am not the most experienced when it comes to wildlife so a long focal lens would certainly make transitioning to wildlife photography easier, I know Tamron is out with a 150-600 lens that cost a fraction of the pro lenses, I have looked into it and It is a lens I will aquire when I can afford it. :)
